Skyborn Research is looking for an engineer to join our electrical team and contribute to our embedded electronics. We see two major hurdles to adoption in the robotics industry: cost and ease of use. We’re developing low-cost robots and their electrical drive schemes in-house to further this vision.
As an electrical engineer you will focus on our motor drive schemes and additional sensors. You’ll be familiar with control theory and its applications in motor systems and will be comfortable designing, building and testing PCBs. You’ll be working closely with the firmware and mechanical teams to ensure all requirements are met in a cost-efficient manner. We’re hiring for all levels from a recent graduate to a team lead. Apply and help us continue to deliver our vision of low-cost, powerful robots driven by computer vision!
We build robots in Amsterdam and Boston. We’re a robotics startup with a vision to increase affordability and intelligence of robotic systems. We’re looking to grow our team and are offering the opportunity to have an impact on an exploding industry.
